Technique Tuesday - Dry Embossing

Good morning friends! It's Technique Tuesday with the Crafty Collaborations Crew. I have a Stampin' Bingo event coming up soon, so today's project will be a sneak peek for my attendees. Let's see how many of them notice. ;-) This sweet little tag is going on their goody bags along with some fun little gifts to say THANKS for coming.  I love spoiling my attendees with fun things!

I created the stitched tags with the Tailor Made Tags die set.  SO STINKIN' CUTE!!! I am IN LOVE with these dies! They're a MUST HAVE for any crafter's collection!

After I die cut the body of the tags, I ran the Bermuda Bay tag through the machine in the Thanks & Hello embossing folder. I love how it has all the different languages in different sizes and even different depths of embossing.  It's great!  Now that the one tag was embossed, I could put the little hole protectors in place.  Yes, there are dies for them with the tag dies! So cool, right?!

I wanted the tags together, but not be lined up perfectly. Ya know?  Because they're gonna be attached to the front of my attendees' goody bags, I needed to stick them together in the position I wanted. Dimensionals to the rescue! I just placed a few to hold the tags together, while making sure that I didn't put them anywhere that would stick out! It's also important to note that I made sure my loop holes still lined up.  Very important! lol.  This way, you can still add a ribbon!

I used the wider White ribbon from the Flowers For Everything Ribbon Combo Pack. I wish we could get that one roll individually. I use it so often! Anywhoo, I used about 8" of it on the tag.

That little snail is just as cute as he can be isn't he?  Snailed It is the theme of my Stampin' Bingo, and we're using the Snail Mail collection.  This sweet tag matches the goody bags perfectly! I die cut this little fella from the Designer Series Paper, using the dies from the Snailed It Bundle. I just LOVE when Stampin' Up matches our DSP to dies that make it easy to cut out!
