Day 5 of The 12 Days of Christmas Tags!

Hello friends!  Not only is today DAY 5 of The 12 Days of Christmas Tags, but it's also Make-It Monday!  With this in mind, I will be creating TWO projects for you today! YAY!!!

I fashioned today's Christmas Tag from one of this year's Christmas cards.  It's trendy and fun and very NON-Traditional Christmas. I love it and I hope you will too!

Choosing So Saffron as my project base set the tone for the feel of them.  I used Bumble Bee, Real Red, and Old Olive for my colorway.  It worked out well, I think!

The Ornamental Envelopes Bundle is so much fun to work with. Not only can I create beautiful envelopes, but those dangling ornaments are my favorite.  They're so pretty and really bring my card and tag to life!

For the Tag base, I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies on So Saffron and Whisper White Cardstocks.  The dangling ornaments stamp is pretty big and I only needed a few of them for this little space, so I used my Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker to color only the things I needed. It worked perfectly and I was able to carry the same look from the card over to the tag.

The sentiments for both projects come from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set. I couldn't use the same sentiment because the space was considerably smaller and it wouldn't fit.  But I LOVE this sentiment and think it fits the tag really well anyway.

The card has the same concept going on.  You can see how BIG that dangling ornaments stamp is. It takes up a good portion of the card front.  But the upside to that is how little additional effort it takes to decorate the card!  I ended up stamping the ornaments, in each of the three colors, several times to ensure I had enough variety for all of my Christmas Cards.  I typically make several each of a few designs to send out.  So, you're getting a sneak peek at one of them.

I finished off both the card and the tag using some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  They're so pretty and the colors are rich and vibrant.  A perfect compliment!

Each day from December 10th thru the 22nd I will be sharing a NEW Christmas Gift Tag with you!  Be sure to come back every day to see the next one! :-D   I also go LIVE in "THE STAMPIN' CHIC FACEBOOK GROUP" each of those days at 1pm est to create that day's tag with you.  Come and craft with me!

12 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 3

Good morning everyone!!  Today is Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags! yay!  How are you feeling about these adorable tags so far?  Have you already used the first two? Oh boy! I think you're going to LOVE today's tag too!

So, I'm posting this one a bit early because I'm joining in on the Ink.Stamp.Share December Special Blog Hop.  HOWEVER, I will still be going LIVE in The Stampin' Chic Facebook Group at 1pm est if you'd like to join me there and create along with me! :-D

Ok friends, today's Christmas Tag (Day 3) is here!

You'll notice as each of the 12 days goes on, that I LOVE various shaped tags.  Square and rectangle are fantastic, but I love all shapes! Today's tag is featuring the Layering Circles dies as well as the Peace and Joy bundle.  The Stamp set is so versatile and I just love those BOLD words!  I brought in a couple of holly leaves that were die cut from The Sweetest Borders Dies because I couldn't resist making holly berries from our beautiful little Red Rhinestones.

Later today I will come back and upload the Facebook Live to Youtube for a replay.  You can join me LIVE in The Stampin' Chic Group or come back here (OR) subscribe to my youtube channel so you get notified for each upcoming tag. :-D

Be sure to click the "NEXT" button to head over to Annette's blog and see what's going on there!  Hop all the way back around to me to be sure to catch all of the amazing projects along the hop!

Ink.Stamp.Share Autumn/Winter Catalogue August Blog Hop

Good Morning friends! This month's Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop is taking you on a little tour of the New Holiday Catalog!  Get your Christmas Cap on because i'll bet you will find a lot of fantastic ideas for the holidays today!

I know just the other day I said that Santa can wait.  But, that doesn't mean I'm not ready for cooler temperatures outside.  I love a nice hot cup of apple cider in the fall and hot cocoa in the winter. Yum!  And Stampin' Up has an entire suite of products designed to make beautifully festive cups to enjoy those cool weather beverages in!

I love how the Stamp & Die Bundle coordinates to make beautiful perfect layers and texture.

The stamp set offers not only for layering up a cup label, but also to easy use on a card front as well!  And my favorite sentiment of the season just happens to be on this set: "You're the marshmallows to my cocoa".  hehehe. Isn't it sweet?!

The dies match perfectly for you to be able to effortlessly layer those labels up!  Check out the label on my cup.  Three deep! Made super easy by the dies, from the cup wrapper itself, to the lace trim, to the adorable little mug on the front of the label.  Easy Peezy!

Here are a few other samples from Stampin' Up:

Pretty fantastic right?  I just love this suite! Expect to see more from me very soon! :-D  Right! So now it's time for me to send you on along to the next person on the hop.  Click the button below to be taken over to Kim's Blog where you're sure to find terrific inspiration!  Have fun!
