CASE IT Wednesday - Grandma's House

Good morning friends! I hope you're doing well today! I have a fun little CASE IT Wednesday for you this week.  It's taken from page 28 in the Annual Catalog.  It's called Grandma's House.

I just love this adorable little stamp set as it reminds me so much of my own grandma!  Grandma's are the best, aren't they?!

As you can see, I didn't totally case the project in the catalog.  That's because I don't plan to use this tag on an acrylic box as such.  I will use it on another gift for my grandma.  And, I think I'll use our Whisper White Polka Dotted Ribbon instead, to give it a light and feminine look. :-)

Anyway, the tag was really easy to make.  It's a 2" x 4 1/2" piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock, with the top put through the tag topper punch.

The White cardstock piece measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" and has the flowers stamped in memento black ink.   I used Stampin' Blends to color the flowers:

* Granny Apple Green Combo
* Daffodil Delight Combo
* Flirty Flamingo Combo

The flower piece is attached to the tag with dimensionals.  Easy Peezy!

I hope you enjoyed today's super quick CASE IT project!  If you'd like to order any of the supplies I used today, simply click on one of the images below to be taken directly to my website.   You'll adore that little Grandma's House Stamp Set!  SO CUTE!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!

Have a fantastic evening.

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities JULY Blog Hop

OOOOOH Boy!!!  I am so excited to be a part of the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop this month because the "ON MY MIND" kit is absolutely FABULOUS!!! It coordinates with not one, not two, but THREE of the product suites in the 2019 Annual Catalog!!!  YAYAYA!

The sentiments in this kit are absolutely FANTASTIC!!!  And the two images are pretty awesome to!

In fact, I used the seashell image a lot, for my alternative project this month!

I always enjoy making boxes or other 3D projects with the Paper Pumpkin kit, ESPECIALLY when the kit is a card one. :-)

I used a playing card box for my inspiration.  When you know that you need the front and back to be the same size, and the sides/top/bottom to be the same size, you can create a box for pretty much any size box you'd like.

Here's the box laid out.  The sides/top/bottom are 1".  The front and back are 2 3/4"x 4".  And then 1/2" extra for the tab on the right.

So the measurements on the long side are 2 3/4", 1", 2 3/4", 1", 1/2" and on the short side are 1", 4", 1" and then I did the flap at only 3/4"

I used VersaMark and stamped the seashell all over the box, then stamped the shell in balmy blue a couple of times and embossed it in gold once.  I fussy cut the shells and used dimensionals to attach them to the box.

I hope you enjoyed today's alternative project!!! Please hop on over to Miss Tricia's blog to see what fabulous project she has waiting for you! :-D

Here are a few other alternatives I created for you. :-) ENJOY!!!

This little box is made from the front and back of one of the card bases in the kit. :-) Just a basic little box.  (both pieces scored at 1" on all four sides. Using the shim to score the lid piece.)

Next month's kit promises to be absolutely AMAZING for all of you fall lovers out there!! Autumn leaves are calling my name!

A Paper Pumpkin Alternative - Kylie's Blog Highlights

Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me in Kylie's International Blog Highlights!  My Notecard box earned a spot in the TOP TEN Winners Blog Hop! YAY!!

Since it's time for me to share some of this month's Paper Pumpkin alternatives, I thought I might share one that follows the "encouragement" theme of the International Highlights Blog Hop.

July's kit was extra special because it coordinated with THREE different product suites in the 2019 Annual Catalog.  This card leans toward the "Garden Lane" suite.   "You're The Best" is a fantastic sentiment of encouragement on this simple, but elegant card.  I used a piece of the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper, matted onto a piece of Gold Foil Cardstock.  Both pieces were cut out using the Stitched Rectangles Shaped Dies.  I love them!

Please follow the hop around and enjoy all the wonderful projects made by Kylie and the TOP TEN WINNERS! :-D

I hope you enjoyed today's card! Be sure to come back tomorrow when I'll share more Paper Pumpkin Alternatives in the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
