October 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop - Fall Theme

Happy Sunday morning friends! I hope you're doing well today! I'm happy to be hopping along with the Kre8tors again this month. With such a fabulous hop theme, of COURSE I'm THRILLED!!!

I am SO READY for Fall to FINALLY be here!!! I'm ready for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, cozy hoodies, FOOTBALL, and bonfires with s'mores!! YAYA!!!! Of course, for now, i'm going to have to settle for daydreams of fall, because it's still hangin' out at 90 degrees here in East Tennessee. lol.  Well, if you've got fall right now, Enjoy it my friends!

Since I've been sharing various Mini Curvy Keepsake Boxes with you all week long, I thought I would use this fabulous blog hop to wrap it all up with ONE LAST box. :-)

This one is so pretty and just sings the epitome of FALL.

I love all the colors associated with this box.  I love the Gold Glimmer. I love the Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron leaves.  I even love the hint of Cajun Craze in the twine I used to tie all these beautiful elements to the box.  It's just sooooo pretty and it makes me very impatient for "FALL" weather! hehe.

I can't wait to see what the other amazing demonstrators have lined up for you in today's blog hop.  Make sure you travel around to all of the pages and see the beautiful projects they've made!

Saturday BONUS POST! Mini Curvy Keepsake Box

Good morning friends! It seems strange posting on a Saturday, but I still have more Mini Curvy Keepsake Boxes to share with you!  Joy of joys! hehe.

Today's box has a special place in my heart because the bundle I used to create it is one of my absolute FAVORITES EVER!!  I'm not lyin'.  The first moment I saw this bundle at OnStage, I KNEW I had to have it and that it would be one of my favorites. And, it has never let me down yet!

Introducing......... The Come Sail Away Mini Curvy Keepsake Box!!

ACCCCCKKKK!!! Do you love it?!  I do! I do!!

I used Sahara Sand for the box cardstock.  Then, I stamped the candy stripes and the Anchor sentiment in Night of Navy ink.  I tied a little bow in the denim ribbon and used a Glue Dot to attach it to the top flap.  I die cut the helm from Crumb Cake Cardstock and inked it up a bit with Soft Suede Ink to give it more texture.  I attached the Helm and the Anchor Charm with the linen thread.

This box, like most of the others this week, was really quite easy to make.  But, I just love how this one came out!!

I have a Mini Curvy Keepsake Class coming up on the 24th of this month.  If you're in the area, you should definitely sign up!  We're going to have a great time!

Well friends, I hope you have enjoyed this week of Mini Curvy Keepsake boxes!  I've had a terrific time sharing them all with you!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

Feature Friday - Birds of a Feather Mini Curvy Keepsake Box

TGIF my friends!!!  Friday is here!!  Today's Feature is a stamp set I noticed right off the bat because it has a fabulous little hen holding a heart. aaaaaawwwwwe!!!  Once I got Birdds of A Feather in my hot little hands, however, I realized that it's a FABULOUS stamp set that covers, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, AND Valentine's day!! WOW!!

It's the little Christmas Chick that I used for today's Mini Curvy Keepsake Box.  Are you loving all the projects and inspiration?!  Have you decided to purchase the bundle yet?  Remember, at the end of each day's post, you have the option of simply clicking the icons to be taken to my online site where you can order your own.  You'll be able to follow along with the week and make all of these adorable little projects too!

Ok, back to the little Christmas Chick!  It's ADORABLE!!!

See! What'd I tell ya?  Cute isn't it?

Ok, so I cut the box from Whisper White.

Then, I put a couple of post-it notes over the "rounded" sides of the box.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the fabulous candy stripes on the "longer" sides of the box.

The little chick was easy to color with light pool party, dark daffodil delight, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends.

I also added a little Wink of Stella to the star and the whites of the hat, but I'm not sure if you can tell that or not.  Just imagine it, ok? hehe.

The chick and the background were cut out using the layering circles dies, and then a couple dimensionals between them for added texture.

The Silver trimmed ribbon makes this look like a gift worth giving and the white baker's twine holds that adorable little chick onto the box.

Over all, it's a super cute little box!!

I  hope you liked today's project! Typically I end my blogging week on Friday, but this week is special and will continue on tomorrow AND sunday!  So stay tuned for a couple more fabulous little curvy keepsake boxes!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

3D Thursday - Manny and Mindy Mini Curvy Keepsake Box

Good morning friends! We're working our way to the weekend already. :-( Time flies when you're having fun!  We have only a few more days of the Mini Curvy Keepsake boxes.  Are you enjoying them? I hope you are.  I've had so much fun putting them together for you! :-D

Today's boxes are very sweet and very special. I'd like to introduce Manny and Mindy!! Aren't they the most adorable little scarecrows ever?

I used Sahara Sand Cardstock for their base, and just like how I made Frankie, Drake and Rita's eyes with the 1/2" circle Punch and the handheld punch, I created Manny and Mindy's cheeks and nose.

Let me just say that I first cut my sheet of cardstock at 5 1/4" x 11".  This allowed me to cut both boxes out of one sheet. And then, I used Flirty Flamingo Ink and a sponge dauber to color a small area of the leftover negative space.  I used the circle and handheld punches to just punch the colored areas directly. :-) Then a little marker to color the stitching and finish them off!

I used Glue Dots to adhere the eyes. It's a lot easier that way.  :-D

The finishing step was to adhere the hair, hat and crows!  and Viola!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today my friends. I really appreciate you coming by each day to see what new Mini Curvy Keepsake Boxes I have to share with you.

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
