Happy Monday, friends! How are ya today? I hope you're doing well! This week's Make-It Monday is featuring the BRAND NEW Ice Cream Corner product collection! When I say you're gonna love it, I mean YOU ARE GOING TO LOOOOOOOVE IT! So stinkin' cute! The Designer Series Paper is just adorable and the coordinating Stamp & Punch bundle are pretty sweet too!! See what I did there? ;-)
Well, anywhooooooo........ I thought I'd share a fun little set of notecards I put together with one of our Gold Mini Pizza Boxes. All of the cards are full on #SimpleStamping! Nothing but Stamps, Ink, and Paper, but very cute!
I used Blackberry Bliss for all of the sentiments. This helps tie all the cards in together for a cohesive set a little better. It's always so incredible how big of a role colors can play. The Ice Cream scoop is Terracotta Tile, while the cone is Soft Suede ink. The stamp set has that fabulous distINKtive technology, so all the shading and highlighting is done for me! I love that!
The popsicle is awesome because it's actually two different stamps to create the whole thing. You can see where the two different colors are. Each is it's own stamp. The top (and envelope) are Pool Party, while the bottom is Bermuda Bay. The stick is done with Soft Suede.
I love the candles!! I used Blackberry Bliss, Terracotta Tile, and Bermuda Bay inks for the candles and Bumblebee for the flames.
On my last card here, you can see the "bottom" stamp a little easier It's so artsy and cute with the splash of Blackberry, isn't it?
All the cards come together to represent the set very well. I love the simplicity of them.
For the outside of the box, I chose to add a bit more. I started with a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" square of the coordinating Designer Series Paper. Then added a 3 1/4" x 1/2" strip of DSP. I used the Layering and Stitched Ovals for the sentiment piece and some of the GORGEOUS Blackberry Bliss Sheer Ribbon from the collection to finish it out. What do you think?

Hello there friends! Are you ready for a fabulous Case It Wednesday (AND a sneak peek at an upcoming NEW coordination product as well)?
This week, I'm focused on one of Stampin' Up BRAND NEW stamp sets called "Positive Thoughts". It's a very sweet and soft feeling set that makes me think of a fabulous vintage collage.
Beautiful isn't it?
The project I CASE'd was so much fun to do and it's just as cute as it can be! You'll find it on page 23 of the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog (upper right hand corner).
It was so exciting to see the pink pizza box and I wanted to share how to create it. Stampin' Up carries White and Gold, but no other colors. However, we can make a pizza box in any color we choose by simply adding a few drops of ink refill and some alcohol to one of our little Stampin' Spritzers!
I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOVE this technique, and you will too! Look at how beautiful that (once white) pizza box is! Imagine making birthday party or anniversary favors and making the boxes to coordinate with the celebration colors.
It's super easy to do! Just lay out a piece of newspaper to protect your work surface, lay the Pizza Box out with the matte side up, spritz the color all over the box so it's coated evenly, and then let it dry. If you're impatient like me, you can use your heat tool to dry it faster.
What can I say, I wanna keep working NOW!!! LOL.
I used my sponge daubers to get the two tone effect on the flower and feather. Just daub a little Saffron in the middle and then daub the Rococo Rose all around the edges. I went back over the middle with the Saffron, just to make sure there were no bare spots. I love the effect!
Now, I mentioned that there would be a SNEAK PEEK of an upcoming coordinations product didn't I?
I'm excited to share that the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is going to have it's own set of dies too!!

They'll be available on February 4th, so be on the lookout!! That's just a few short days away. GAAAAH!!!! There are FOUR other die sets coming along with them too!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!! You're gonna FLIP!! They're amazing!
Here's the sneak peek of the Positive Thoughts dies:
Not only is there a die to cut out the stamped feather, but there's also a bigger one that embosses AND cuts another out! YAYAYA!!! AND, that rectangle frame up there? Its got a BEAUTIFUL lacy type pattern around the frame. Not quite stitching, not quite filigree. You'll have to see for yourself!
Ok, once I stamped and cut the flower and feather, I stamped the floral cluster in Crumb Cake on a piece of 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" Whisper White Cardstock. I also stamped off and added a butterfly in Mint Macaron, over the top of the cluster. I added a strip of Rococo Rose Cardstock (3/4" x 2 7/8") about half an inch up from the bottom of the Whisper White piece. Then, I attached the feather with snail and the flower overlapping with dimensionals. I tied a length of Mint Macaron ribbon around the box and into a bow. The last thing was to stamp the sentiment on a piece of 1" x 2 7/8" Whisper White cardstock, and attach it to the top of the box using Stampin' Dimensionals. Use a few of those brand new Champagne Rhinestones to finish it off nicely.
This was such a fun project. Now I'll need to make a set of 3x3" matching cards & envelopes for it.

Good morning to you, friends! It's time for Make-It Monday! I'm super excited to share this week's project with you because it is FABULOUS!! It's useful, creative, beautiful, and can be given as a wonderful gift! YAY, YAY, YAY, and YAYAYAYAYA! hehe.
I give you.......
The Friendship notecard box (with gift box)!!!
I had so much fun creating this box and I want to share it with you! I think you'll enjoy it too!
I will warn you ahead of time, however, this box took 4 sheets of cardstock for the easel box itself and an additional sheet for the gift box.
That being said, let's do this! :-D
Piece #1: The drawer itself. The photo shows the score and cut lines, as well as what the piece should look like.
Piece #2: The drawer sleeve. This is what the drawer will slide into when it's assembled.
Piece #3: The easel top. The bigger part glues to the top of the drawer sleeve, while the two smaller sections create the easel.
Pieces #4&5: The bottom of the sleeve glues to one of these pieces for the base of the box. The other piece is to glue onto the easel for the top of the box.
Piece #6: That little strip is a 7/8" x 5 1/8" piece, that will cover the brad and reinforce the front of the drawer.
The DSP You'll need:
* (1) 7/8" x 5 1/8" for the drawer front
* (1) 3 1/2" x 5" for the drawer liner
* (2) 4 1/8" x 5 5/8" for the top of the box and the easel front
* Additional cardstock/DSP/embellishments to decorate your box the way you choose
First, assemble the drawer.
I used a brad for the drawer pull, but you could just as easily use a twine loop with a knot or whatever you want.
I used that little strip of cardstock to cover the ends of the brad. It just gives a nice clean look to the drawer.
Don't forget your drawer liner! :-D
Next, assemble the drawer sleeve. I "tucked" the little tab between the two side panels so that it would leave a smooth finish on the inside and keep my drawer from getting hung up.
Double check to make sure the drawer fits in the sleeve good.
Once you've confirmed your drawer works properly, you can finish it up. One of the 4 3/8" x 5 7/8" panels is the base of our project. So, apply glue to the bottom of the drawer sleeve and center it over that panel and adhere.
Then, adhere the easel panel to the top of the drawer sleeve. The easel part should be to the back. Once you've got that attached, you can glue the other 4 3/8" x 5 7/8" panel to the top section (ONLY) of the easel panel.
There you have it! Your box is made and you can begin decorating it however you like. I enjoyed sponging all the edges of mine with Soft Suede to give it a more "VINTAGE" feel. But you can make yours however you like.
The drawer holds 5 embellished notecards and envelopes without trouble. Adding more might be a tight fit, but could be done if you tied a ribbon around the cards to hold them together.

I created a gift box to protect my beautiful notecard box too! It's super simple and follows the standard "Simple Gift Box" rule.
I wanted the box to be only slightly bigger than my notecard box.
so my dimensions were 8 3/8" x 6 7/8", scored at 1 1/4" on all four sides.
