It's time for a Sale-a-Bration Customer Appreciation!!

Hello, Hello my friends! I am so excited about today because it's finally time for my SAB Customer Appreciation event!  We're going to have a FANTASTIC TIME!!!

I love to spoil my customers, ESPECIALLY during Sale-a-Bration!  We will be playing Games, doing make'n takes, eating a fabulous meal, and of course, winning prize patrols!!!

The theme for this event has got to be bunnies, since it's so close to Easter. hehe. The centerpieces are galvanized pails with white carnations, the water bottles have adorable little hangers that hold lemonade packets, the treat boxes have chocolate candy eggs, and the favors have the Best Bunny punch art on the front. SO CUTE!

Dinner is a fabulous grilled chicken fettuccine alfredo all made from scratch, a yummy garlic bread and fabulous garden salad, with a cookie cake for dessert. YUM!!! Are you jealous yet? hehe.

I love that with Stampin' Up!, I have the ability to do fun things like this and have the nerve to call it "MY JOB"! haha!  Can you do that with your job?  I hope you can. It certainly makes the "work days" go by quickly. :-)

Well friends,  I've got to go get ready for this party!!!  HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!!!

Until next time,
Happy Crafting!

March Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - "Poppin' Birthday"

Good morning friends! How are you this fine spring day?  Yesterday was absolutely GORGEOUS and I'm hoping for a repeat today. :-D

Oh boy do I have an exciting post for you this Friday!  It's time to share my alternative projects for the MARCH Paper Pumpkin Kit "Poppin' Birthday". YAYAYAYAYA!!!  This was Paper Pumpkin's 6th birthday kit, and it did NOT disappoint!  I am over the moon by the stamps that we received.  First off; we received not only the set for the kit, but we also received an ADDITIONAL coordinating stamp set that's big like a standard size stamp set! WOWZA!

Aren't the stamps FANTASTIC?!!! I LOVE EM! I can already tell that I'll be getting tons and tons of future use out of these. :-) They're awesome!

The projects for this month's kit were pretty fantastic too!  8 pop up Birthday Cards with coordinating envelopes (as seen in the header photo).  And, true to Paper Pumpkin form, we received enough supplies to make our cards and still have some left over to play with!

Of course, I don't typically use all the supplies to create all the projects.  I like to make one like the kit suggests and then use the rest to play with for alternatives! YAY!  With Sale-a-Bration in it's final days, I haven't had as much time to really go crazy with the Alternatives like I want, but I do have a handful here to share with you today. I hope you enjoy them!

I'll kick it off with this fantastic pizza box FULL of fabulous little 3x3" cards.  I had so much fun coming up with each of them.  Every one is totally unique, but they all have just a hint of Wink of Stella on them. Gotta have a lil bling! Am I right?

This one is going to be a little gift box for our "little" girl who will be 15 next month.  I did an entire blog post on how to create this one, just the other day.  You can see it HERE.  It's only a couple inches tall, but is SO STINKIN' CUTE!!!

Here, I used the flap from one of the envelopes to get the striped layer.  I stamped a couple of balloons and then used our Balloon punch to cut them out.  The stamp is just a tiny bit larger than the small balloon on the punch, but it does a great job anyway.  Then, I just glued the tiny bows and strings on with a mini glue dot.

This little box is TINY, but it's super cute! It could hold a little Birthday note, or some M&Ms or skittles.  It was made from half of one of the card bases in the kit. That left the other half for me to use elsewhere! :-D

I really enjoyed making this card.  I love the look of all the numbers stamped randomly on the card, and then the birthday girl's number as the focus in Gorgeous Grape.  The striped ribbon helped tie it in too, I think.

This fantastic little treat holder will carry TWO Ghiradelli chocolates perfectly.  Notice, I used the other half of that card base for this project. I really like being able to take the supplies we get from the kit, and using them the way I want so that I can get the most use out of the entire kit!

For this card, I used one of the inserts as directed. So the inside pops up like the kit projects.  I took half of the other design of card base and cut it down a bit to make it a layer for the front of this one.  Then I cut a section off of the banner to make it shorter. You can see that I used the larger balloon, from the punch, on this one.  I brought in some of the reversible Coastal Cabana/ Granny Apple Green ribbon and then stamped Happy Birthday on the bottom corner.

So far, I've made the 2 samples as indicated for the kit, 3 standard size cards, 3 boxes, and a pizza box with 8 3x3" cards inside, and I STILL have TONS of supplies left to use! That's incredible!!!

Paper Pumpkin truly is an amazing program!  You get a different project kit each and every month, they're all incredible, and they're all inclusive.  This means that every single thing you need, to complete the included project, is IN the box!! AWESOME!!!

Resilient and Strong Card

Hello, Hello everyone!  I'm so glad you're here.  We're following along Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. Today's project is a very simple one with an incredible message! I hope you like it.  I love that the background does all the "heavy lifting" on this card.  And what's even better is that the embossing folder used is a FREE item with purchase, from the 2019 Sale-a-Bration catalog!!  That's right! Get this little powerhouse for FREE when you purchase $50 of products from me! YAYA!! WIN WIN!!

Can I just brag on the "COUNTRY FLORAL" embossing folder for a moment?  WOWWIE WOW WOW!!! It's a STUNNER isn't it?!  Look at all that amazing texture!!! It is quite easily my ALL TIME FAVORITE embossing folder!  Oh my gosh! It's gorgeous!

Ok really though, that embossing folder literally does all the work on this card.  All of it!  I'll show you what I mean.

We start with an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Pear Pizzazz Card stock (scored at 4 1/4")  and a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock.

I ran the Crushed Curry through the Big Shot with the Country Floral embossing folder.  There is SO MUCH TEXTURE, you won't believe it!  I used dimensionals to attach this layer to the card base.

The sentiment is from the "STRONG & BEAUTIFUL" stamp set (2019 Occasions Catalog, pg 48).  WOWZA!  Talk about powerhouse!  It has some of the most INCREDIBLE sentiments you could possibly have. You need this set in your collection if you don't have it already!  It's perfect for really lifting someone up! Check those sayings out! AMAZING!

I stamped the Resilient sentiment in Versamark (on Very Vanilla Cardstock) and embossed it in Gold to give it an elegant look. Then I just layered this piece onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, and mounted it using dimensionals to the embossed layer.

Before I attached the embossed layer to the card base, I added a piece of Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon.  It really makes the card look beautiful!.

So that's it!  A super simple but INCREDIBLE card that packs a wollup of a punch!

I hope that you enjoyed today's card project.  And, if you don't already have the stamp set or embossing folder, don't forget to grab them up before they're gone! They are FANTASTIC!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Don't forget to check out the other blogs along our Demo Training hop.  There are so many fabulous projects to see!

Until next time,

Country Floral Colorful Card

Good Friday Morning everyone!! I hope you're all doing well today. How many of you are thrilled for the weekend?  This week has flown by, it seems.  I've been doing some "Spring cleaning", sorting, decluttering and rearranging "things" all week.  So it must be true what they say about being busy making the time go faster.  While I still have quite a bit left to do, I will be THRILLED when it's all done. :-)  Do you feel better after a good purge?  It's amazing how much "STUFF" we collect in our normal every day lives. WOWZA!

Well, among all the sorting and cleaning, I have found a little time to do some stamping too (of course).  It's good for my soul!

Today's card is one I've seen around the internet alot recently.  I knew I wanted to try it out.  I want to spend some time playing around with colors and techniques on this one and you're likely to see another post at some point soon!  I used the "COUNTRY FLORAL" embossing folder for this one.  It's one of our BRAND NEW 2nd release Sale-a-Bration items, which means you can get it for FREE with a $50 purchase!! :-D

With the incredible dynamic texture of this folder, and some Stampin' Blends, you can easily make this fabulously colorful card! It's really easy, so let's get to it.

First things first, you'll need to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  This one measures 5" x 3 3/4".

Then, use whatever markers or Stampin' Blends you have on hand to color in the flowers and leaves. It's easy to follow the raised lines of the embossing.

I brought in this sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful Stamp set out of the 2019 Occasions Catalog.  By now, you know how much I love this set!  I used one of the Stitched Rectangle Framelits to cut it out and then popped it up on dimensionals to attach to the card.

The card base is Whisper White and the background layer is one of the yellow pieces from the Gingham Gala DSP.  It's cut at 5 1/4" x 4".  I also used some of the Organdy Sale-a-Bration ribbon, which was so popular it sold out twice.  Sadly, it's no longer available.  But you could substitute the ribbon easily.

As you can see, it's a pretty simple card.  But it was so much fun to do! :-) Coloring is always fun and you should do it as often as possible!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this card project. Remember that Sale-a-Bration is still going on right now and you can still get this embossing folder for FREE with your $50 purchase! If you'd like to get your hands on it, check out my website HERE or one of the icons below.

Have a fantastic day everyone!!

Until next time,
Happy Crafting!
