Feature Friday - For The Love Of Felt

Good morning my friends! I hope you're doing well today. We made it to Friday! YAYAYA!!!  This week has been a bit of a struggle for me, but I'm pushing through. Amen!

I have a fantastic product to share with you today.  It's called "For The Love Of Felt" card kit.  I absolutely LOVE Stampin' Up kits because they take all the guess work out and leave only the fun stuff!!  We have two types of kit available.  One is our "All-Inclusive" kit.  These are the ones that include absolutely everything you need to create that project.  The other is simply a "project kit".  You generally only need to add your own adhesive, or perhaps an ink pad or two, to make these "all inclusive".

The "For The Love Of Felt" kit Includes 12 card bases (4 each of 3 designs), matching printed envelopes, and the fabulous felt embellishment set. You can purchase the coordinating stamp set and ink pads separately, or use what you already have on hand.  That's the wonderful thing about these project kits!  They're so easily adapted to suit your needs!

I can't get over the color palate either! It's so beautiful!

Coordinating colors are:

Calypso Coral
Daffodil Delight
Lovely Lipstick
Pear Pizzazz
Pool Party
Sahara Sand
Shaded Spruce
and Whisper White

Just LOOK at all the texture in those flowers!! OH boy!! You can understand why I think this kit is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOVE!!!!

If you'd like to order the kit (and perhaps the matching stamp set), you can simply click on their images down below to be taken directly to my website.  These cards will make VERY happy mail for anyone you choose to send them to!  You might want to order more than one kit!!

The included box would be fabulous gift to sort cards or make into a recipe box!

Check out Stampin' Up's video for putting this kit together. As you can see, they're super easy and just as cute as they can be!

Now, if you're local to me, I'm hosting a class featuring "For The Love Of Felt" Product kit.  I will have the stamp set and inks on hand for you to use.

You can sign up for the class HERE.

Class registration fee covers the kit, your own snail adhesive, and use of the stamp set and inks. ALL INCLUSIVE! :-D

Thank you so much for stopping by today my friends! I hope you enjoyed this week's product feature! :-)

CASE IT - Wednesday - Tiny Keepsakes Snowman (SNEAK PEEK!!!!)

GOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!  Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! I am SO EXCITED to share this week's CASE IT Wednesday project with you because........

It's a SNEAK PEEK into the BRAND NEW 2019 HOLIDAY CATALOG!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!

***DISCLAIMER***  I'm not allowed to show you the INSIDE of the catalog just yet. I'm so sorry about that. BUT, I'll tell you the page number so that you can check it out on SEPTEMBER 4th when the catalog goes LIVE! Deal?

Ok, it's taken from page 18 of the Holiday catalog. And Oh my goodness!!!! It is the CUTEST thing I have EVER SEEN!!!  Are you ready for this?

*SQUUUUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!*  Isn't it just the absolute MOST STINKIN' ADORABLE thing EVER???!!!!

Let me tell you about the "Mini Curvy Keepsake Box".  It is SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! lol.  End of story. lol.

No no, just kidding.  There's actually a lot more to it than that.  For starters, with the Mini Curvy Keepsake die set, you not only get the die for the box itself (ONE PIECE MIND YOU!!!) but you also get FIVE tiny STITCHED tags, a couple pine sprigs, and two snowflake dies that coordinate with the "Tiny Keepsakes" stamp set.

YES!!! It IS available as a bundle for only $48.50.  OMGOSH!!!

Ok, I truly could go on and on about that box, BUT, I've got to get on with our project don't I?

The box, (YES, ONE PIECE!!) is super easy to cut out.  I recommend turning it at a slight angle in your die cut machine, so it doesn't have too much pressure in one spot.  Also, I used a piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" with little waste. So you can get TWO per sheet of cardstock and still have a 3 1/4" x 11" strip to embellish and make tags with. :-)

I am actually giving a whole slew of sneak peeks in this one!! LOL.  The red (yarn) curly ribbon is very cute too and adds to the adorability (yes, that's my word!) of the box!  I think I used around 10". I just wanted to leave a sorta long tail on the bow. I tied it around the little handle.  *giggles* I just LOVE this box!!!

The snowman face is ANOTHER sneak peek!!  It's actually epoxy stickers that come in the adorable box that you may not have even noticed in the first photo.  That Pool Party/Real Red/Whisper White gift box has an entire "build a snowman" type embellishment kit inside!  ACK!!!! LOVE!!!!!

You see that roll of washi tape towards the left?  That's glimmer tape.  It's Dana approved not to shed glitter puke all over you!! YAYAYAYAYA!!! You know I love that!!  The kit also includes some little snowballs, felt stitched hats/mittens/scarves and a whole sheet of epoxy stickers to help you "build a snowman".

All in all that little embellishment kit is way too cute!!!  AND once you've used up all the goodies, that box is SERIOUSLY adorable for a gift box!  Tie on a cute snowman tag and some of that red curly ribbon and you have a gift that would make Tiffany jealous!

So, there you have it my friends.  And let me just say, this gorgeous little guy worked up in a matter of a couple minutes (like, less than FIVE!!) and can hold 3 hershey nugget or a Tiffany Bracelet too!! Can you say STOCKING STUFFERS?!?!

One last thing about our new friend before I say goodbye...... If you google or Pinterest Search "MINI CURVY KEEPSAKE BOX" you will find some of the most ADORABLE little variations EVER!!!!  Demonstrators all over the world have already been having a great time creating some SERIOUSLY CUTE projects using the box!  This one HAS to go at the top of  your wish list!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I really appreciate you.  I hope that you enjoyed our little snowman and will be looking forward to ordering the supplies to make your own.  Now, even though you have to wait til the  4th to use these links, I'm going to add the supply list to this post for easy reference.  Make sure you come back next Wednesday for the next CASE IT - Wednesday AND to be able to order these products!!!  It's almost time!!

Have a fantastic day my friends!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

Thoughtful Thursday - Just Keep Swimming!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.....  I sing it to myself in dory's voice. Such a catchy little tune isn't it?  If you don't know what I'm referring to, it's dory from Finding Nemo (youtube it. hehe).

This sweet fish can't remember where she came from or what she's doing most of the time. But, still she sings, just keep swimming!  Isn't this a fantastic lesson for us all?  Dory teaches us that no matter what obstacles we have to conquer, no matter what terrible ordeal life throws at us, if we just keep swimming (keep moving forward), all will work out in the end.

I dunno about you, but I need to learn that lesson over and over again sometimes.  I have a bad habit of letting the weight of the world rest squarely upon my shoulders.  Are you like that too?  What does it do for us to allow this stress and worry enter our lives and take hold of us?  How is it helpful to fret over this day's woes?  Does it somehow make the problems go away? Perhaps it helps us figure everything out better?  No, unfortunately that's not true either.  Sadly, we take on too much in our lives and then wonder why we're always so tired.  Am I right?  Or am I right?

We need to learn how to ditch all of the stuff that we can't control anyway.  Let's just set that nonsense aside because it does us no good. Let tomorrow worry about tomorrow because today is here and now.

Well friend, no matter what life throws your way, I want you to sing along with me..... Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you go out into your day with a happy heart and a song in your head! Hey, just keep swimming, just keep swimming! :-D You're welcome!

Have a fantastic day!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

CASE IT - Wednesday EVERYTHING AMAZING

Good morning friends! I hope you are doing well today!  It's that time again and I have an adorable project to share with you.

This week's Case It project comes from page 20 in the 2019 Annual Catalog.  It's one of the Everything Amazing samples.  This stamp set is so cute!  It makes for quick and simple cards too.

I really like the card, and I hope you do too!!

The color scheme for this card is an excellent gender neutral set.  Of course, we tip the scales a bit by adding hearts and flowers to the image strip.
It's got a fantastic contemporary feel to it, doesn't it? I LOVE IT! Clean and fresh!

Ok, so the card is pretty quick and simple to do.

I started out with:

a Smoky Slate card base (8 1/2" x 5 1/2")
a strip of Whisper White (2 1/2" x 5 1/2")
a strip of Pear Pizzazz (1" x 5")
a strip of Bermuda Bay (1" x 3 3/4")
and a piece of Soft Sea Foam (2 3/4" x 4 1/4")

With the Whisper White strip, stamp some of the little images randomly all over.  I modified the design from the catalog, to make the card an encouragement card rather than a Birthday card.  So, I used the hearts, stars and flower images from the stamp set.

Then, Using Pear Pizzazz ink, I stamped the AMAZING image on the Sea Foam cardstock.

I used the largest nesting die from the Stitched Nested Labels Die set, to make the "arrow" shape around the stamped image.

As you can see from the photo above, I let the die hang off the edge in order to get straight sides.

I took the strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock and lined it up along the bottom edge of this piece and hand trimmed the one diagonal line.

Bermuda Bay makes a fabulous contrasting color with this image. I love it!  I put that little strip of Pear cardstock behind the left edge of the White strip.  This really does add just the right pop of color.

Some dimensionals behind the sentiment piece before it's attached, gives a nice "separation" from the two parts.  It looks fantastic!

To finish off the card, I added a few iridescent sequins to it.   LOVELY!

You can see the original card on page 20 of the Annual Catalog. See the difference between the Stampin' Up Birthday Card version, and my encouraging version.  Both are FANTASTIC!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today my friends! I hope you enjoyed this week's CASE IT project!

Have a fantastic day!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
