All Dressed Up Handbag

Hello there! I have a fun little sneak peek into the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog for you! I think you're gonna love it.  I love it!

This handbag is SUPER CUTE! And it's a terrific size for a gift bag. In the one on the left, I've got snail adhesive, a roll of lifesavers, a container of charms and a package of metallic pearls! And there's still a little room left for something else.  On the right, I've got 6 Lindor Truffles!

Now, if you think the handbags are cute, you are gonna LOVE the backpack!!! It's SERIOUSLY adorable!!

I made this one using the Peaceful Boughs pinecones, and I just love it! But I can't wait to make some cute little Valentine's ones for my hunny bunny and mini me! :-) (Don't worry, I'll share em with you too. Stay tuned!!)

Of course, I've done a video to show you how to make the handbag. And, I tell you what to do differently for the backpack.  So, come January 3rd you'll be ready to purchase your own die set! I can't wait to see what everyone does with the bag dies specifically.  There are some incredibly genius crafters out there who will most likely create totally different projects! I can't wait! :-D

You can see my video here.  But watch it over on Youtube and subscribe to my channel (if you're not already a subscriber) so that you'll know when I post future videos!  I really enjoy making them for you and hope to do them even more often in 2020!

Well friends, Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that you have enjoyed my project and are looking forward to getting your hands on these BRAND NEW products!!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

Peaceful Boughs and the cutest little gift bag EVER!

Good morning friends! I have an exciting project to share with you today.  I received a Christmas Card from a wonderful friend of mine the other day. It was so beautiful, it inspired today's projects!

The card on the left is the STUNNING card I received from my friend. The card on the right is the one I created from inspiration.

I had seen Janice create multiple projects, that were absolutely GORGEOUS mind you, using this same bundle. Every time she made something with it I thought "I have GOT to get that set!".  The Peaceful Boughs bundle not only has those gorgeous multi-layer pinecones, but it also has that magnificent pine bough AND the sentiment piece used on both cards.  It also has a smaller sentiment piece that coordinates as well.  Let's just say, it's the COMPLETE PACKAGE for Seasonal Cardmaking! If you search PINTEREST for Peaceful Boughs, you'll find an unlimited supply of inspiration and INCREDIBLE projects!!

Ok, so I did mention the CUTEST little gift bag EVER!!!  I combined the Peaceful Boughs bundle with a BRAND NEW product coming in the 2020 Mini Catalog.  It's the All Dressed Up dies from the Dressed to Impress product suite.   Trust me, you're gonna love this one!!

The dies can make a beautiful handbag, or........... This fantastic backpack!

I will be featuring the Dressed to Impress products in the upcoming Make-it Monday! So stay tuned for that! :-) I'll show you how to make the handbag.

I love how these two projects come together nicely. They are dressed and ready for Christmas! :-D

I hope you've enjoyed today's projects!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

CASE IT - Christmas Gleaming Card

Hello, hello my friends! I'm afraid I've caught the crud bug. :-( I woke up feeling like roadkill. BLEH! I hate being sick. I don't have time to be sick! lol.  Who does though, right?

Well, I did manage to get a CASE it project done for you today, at least. :-) I've been looking at this one for a while and hadn't got around to it.  It comes from page 4 of the 2019 Holiday Catalog.

I just love the color combination! It doesn't exactly SCREAM Christmas, but I love the tones!

Start out with a Pool Party Card base (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Then, using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and Bermuda Bay ink, stamp the little splatter marks across the bottom 2" or so of the card.

Attach a 3 1/2" strip of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon across the top of the splatter.

I made two of the same card to add to my outgoing Christmas Card stash, so if you're making one card, you only need to stamp one each of the images in this photo:

Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Calypso Coral are so interesting together, don't you think?

The punches in the Christmas Gleaming bundle make easy work of the card too!  But, I fussy cut the holly.  No worries! It's an easy one!

I used Real Red and Mossy Meadow Markers to color directly onto the stamp. I like to more bold outline colors.

Coloring the Stamped image with Light Granny Apple Green and Light Real Red really made the image pop!

Fussy cutting was super easy and quick too!

The sentiment strip is cut at 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" in Whisper White.  I used a Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker to color the words "be this season".  I stamped that directly onto the sentiment strip.  "JOLLY" was colored with the Calypso Coral Marker and then stamped onto a scrap piece of cardstock. I fussy cut that too, and then attached it in place with dimensionals.  That technique is a LOT of fun and really adds some drama to your statements on a project!

There are a lot of fun layers with this card and of course, you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors!

I hope you'll CASE this one yourself! It's a lot of fun!

Until Next Time my friends,
Stay happy and healthy and as always
Happy Crafting!
