Flowering Foils Week! Gift Box

Good evening friends! I hope you're doing well today. It's kindof a wet and gloomy day here in East TN, so I thought I'd go ahead and create that Greeting Card Gift Box I mentioned yesterday. It's just the ticket to add a little sunshine back into my day!

 I really LOVE all the colors we've been playing with this week.  Don't you?  Stampin' Blends are so much fun to play with, ESPECIALLY when you've got such amazing paper to color!

EACH DAY THIS WEEK (Monday-Friday) I posted a different Card and each one features the So Sentimental Bundle, Tasteful Textures Stamp Set and the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper!

When you order the So Sentimental Bundle and a pack of Stampin' Dimensionals, you will earn the Flowering Foils DSP for FREE!!! AND, when you use the host code pictured here, you'll also get a FREE set of Rhinestone Basic Jewels! YAY! Click the image here to go directly to a cart with these products:

If you have come back each day this week to see the next card, THANK YOU so much!!! I really appreciate you following this series.  I had so much fun creating the cards for you. I hope you're able to get some use out of them!

Here's a quick recap of each of the cards:

Monday - Flirty Flamingo

Tuesday - Highland Heather

Wednesday - Seaside Spray

Thursday - Shades Of Green

Friday - Colors Of The Rainbow

As you can see, we've had a great week! :-)

Ok, but now you'd like a box to put your beautiful cards in! Right?  I gotcha covered my friend!

We'll start with TWO 6" x 7 3/8" Pieces of Cardstock. I used Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue. These will be your lid and base.

You'll also need:
* A piece of the Flowering Foils DSP measuring 4" x 5 1/4"
* A piece of Cardstock (for the first layer) measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (you'll die cut the label from this layer)
* A piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 2 1/2" x 1 3/8" for the sentiment piece
* A few inches of Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon to make the bow with
* Tuxedo Black Ink Pad
* Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad
* Various Shades of Stampin' Blends Markers
* Rhinestone Basic Jewels

As with the other cards this week, you'll want to color your Designer Series Paper first.

For each of the two 6" x 7 3/8" pieces of Cardstock, you will score at 3/4" on all four sides.  Whichever piece you want to be your lid, will need to have the "SHIM" in place on the scoreboard BEFORE you score the lines to ensure a good fit.

Watch my video to see what I mean:

Once you have your box scored, cut and assembled (follow the video tutorial if you're not sure about making a basic card box), it's time to put the front panels on.  In the video, you can see how I stamped and embellished the front of the box to coordinate with my cards.

This is a really simple type of box, but it looks so pretty dressed up to match the cards! Now the only question is, who to give this beautiful gift to?

There you have it friends! I hope you've enjoyed this week's series of projects.  Please comment below and let me know which of this week's cards was your favorite, and if you plan to make them too!  I'd love to hear from you!!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
