Resilient and Strong Card

Hello, Hello everyone!  I'm so glad you're here.  We're following along Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. Today's project is a very simple one with an incredible message! I hope you like it.  I love that the background does all the "heavy lifting" on this card.  And what's even better is that the embossing folder used is a FREE item with purchase, from the 2019 Sale-a-Bration catalog!!  That's right! Get this little powerhouse for FREE when you purchase $50 of products from me! YAYA!! WIN WIN!!

Can I just brag on the "COUNTRY FLORAL" embossing folder for a moment?  WOWWIE WOW WOW!!! It's a STUNNER isn't it?!  Look at all that amazing texture!!! It is quite easily my ALL TIME FAVORITE embossing folder!  Oh my gosh! It's gorgeous!

Ok really though, that embossing folder literally does all the work on this card.  All of it!  I'll show you what I mean.

We start with an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Pear Pizzazz Card stock (scored at 4 1/4")  and a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock.

I ran the Crushed Curry through the Big Shot with the Country Floral embossing folder.  There is SO MUCH TEXTURE, you won't believe it!  I used dimensionals to attach this layer to the card base.

The sentiment is from the "STRONG & BEAUTIFUL" stamp set (2019 Occasions Catalog, pg 48).  WOWZA!  Talk about powerhouse!  It has some of the most INCREDIBLE sentiments you could possibly have. You need this set in your collection if you don't have it already!  It's perfect for really lifting someone up! Check those sayings out! AMAZING!

I stamped the Resilient sentiment in Versamark (on Very Vanilla Cardstock) and embossed it in Gold to give it an elegant look. Then I just layered this piece onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, and mounted it using dimensionals to the embossed layer.

Before I attached the embossed layer to the card base, I added a piece of Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon.  It really makes the card look beautiful!.

So that's it!  A super simple but INCREDIBLE card that packs a wollup of a punch!

I hope that you enjoyed today's card project.  And, if you don't already have the stamp set or embossing folder, don't forget to grab them up before they're gone! They are FANTASTIC!
