Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags

Hey again! It's time for Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags! YAY!!

This one is VERY pretty! It features the Words of Cheer Stamp & Die Bundle and an absolutely stunning color combination: Blushing Bride, Basic White, and Silver.  GORGEOUS!

* The base of this tag is a 3 1/8" x 6 1/8" piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock.
* The next layer is a 3" x 6" piece of Basic White Cardstock that has been embossed with the Dots Embossing Folder. 
* A 7/8" x 6" strip of Silver Foil paper adds a nice formal touch to the tag front. I love this little pop of shine!

"Christmas" has been stamped in Versamark ink onto a 1 5/8" x 3/8" strip of Basic White Cardstock and then embossed with the Silver Embossing Powder in the Metallics Emboss Powder collection.  It's attached to the tag using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

The background of the "CHEER" is die cut in a 1 3/8" x 4 3/4" piece of Blushing Bride and the letters are die cut in  a 5/8" x 4 1/2" piece of Basic White.  I love the layered look, and it's all made easy by the dies.  Pretty neat, huh? 

I attached "CHEER" with Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the left half of it, and let the right side just hang over the edge of the Silver Foil.  But after I did that, I thought that it would have been nice to have put the word on a piece of our Foam Adhesive Sheet before die cutting.  That would have given it a bit more definition too.  Either way is absolutely beautiful. So, you can decide for yourself which you'd like to do. 

The Metallic Mesh, Frayed Blushing Bride, and Shimmery Grey Granite Ribbons are all cut to 9" and then looped through a hole punched in the tag. I tied a 12" length of the White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon around all of the others, and into a bow. I think it finished things off nicely.
