Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags

Good evening my crafty friends! Today is DAY 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Tags! Yay!  Today, I'm bringing you back to the Christmas Season bundle. 

I love the "classic" holiday feel to this tag.  It reminds me of a hometown Christmas! 

For this tag, we're going to do an interesting technique.  I used the largest of the tag dies from the bundle, to die cut out of Tidings Of Christmas Designer Series Paper.  Then, I used a pencil to trace the backside of the same die onto a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock.  I fussy cut along the pencil marks, and the result is a perfectly matted layer! yay! This technique can be used for pretty much any die, to make a thin mat layer. 

That's cool, huh?

The ink colors I used for this tag are: 
* Evening Evergreen

* Cherry Cobbler
* Crumb Cake
* Misty Moonlight
* Soft Succulent
* Early Espresso

With all these classic colors going on, it seemed only right to use the beautiful Gold Shimmer ribbon as the accent. LOVE IT!! Then, to finish it off beautifully, add a few blue rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Jewels to the tag.
