Ink.Stamp.Share Monthly Blog Hop

Hello there friends! I'm joining in the Ink.Stamp.Share monthly blog hop today and we have got a fantastic lineup of projects to share with you! WOWZA!

This month's theme is a color challenge. YAY! I like those.

These colors are so pretty too, and just scream spring!  While they scream Spring, I thought they also scream "Welcome Baby"!  So, I decided to create a sweet little baby card using the Witty-Cisms stamp set.  I'll be sad to see it go with the retirement coming up, but I'm enjoying it right now while I can!

The really fun aspect of this card was creating the background. I cut 4" x 1/4" strips of cardstock in our chalenge colors and glued them to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock.

A technique I really enjoy, is direct to stamp coloring.  Using Stampin' Write Markers, you can create a multi-colored image in one stamp. It's great! And the Witty-Cisms stamp set is PERFECT to use this technique!

The Stitched Shapes Square Die fits the stamped image perfectly, and the Layering Scalloped Square is a fantastic compliment.

I used the largest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut the Highland Heather layer. I'm really glad they are carrying over to the new catalog in June!

I really enjoyed creating a card using these colors.  I can't wait to share what the other amazing designers have created for you! Please follow the hop along to see all the incredible projects that have been designed for you. You're sure to find plenty of inspiration!
