Day 4 of the 13 Days of Halloween Treats

Hello friends! TGIF!!! Today is Homecoming and the lil Miss is with her friends enjoying the Football game and Homecoming festivities at the high school.  Meanwhile, back in Oklahoma, my high school classmates are watching the Homecoming game in my hometown this evening too.  It's kind of surreal actually.  My "baby's" Senior Homecoming and my 25th Year Homecoming.  CRAZY!!!  Time flies is all I can say to that!

Well, anywhoo, I suspect you're not here to listen to me get sentimental about high school days! Let's get to Day 4 of the 13 Days of Halloween Treats, shall we?

Hey, Boo!! This fun little Pencil Holder contains three Halloween themed Pencils. I was able to pick up a package of 12 from the Dollar Tree.  Walmart also carries packs of themed pencils in the Seasonal aisle.  It's nice to have a non candy treat option now and then!

You can watch the YouTube video tutorial here if you like:

I'd love for you to SUBSCRIBE to my channel and give the video a THUMBS UP if you like the project! :-)

Here's what you'll need to recreate this candy alternative project:

* Basic Black Cardstock - 2" x 11" scored and cut according to this template

* BOO Designer Series Paper from the Cute Halloween pack - 7/8" x 3 1/8"
* Pumpkin Pie Cardstock - 2" x 2" die cut with 3rd smallest scalloped die
* Basic White Cardstock - 2" x 2" die cut with 3rd smallest layering circle die
* Scrap of Basic White Cardstock to stamp & punch little Ghost

Follow the score and cut lines on the template.  Attach the DSP strip to the front panel. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere side flaps to back of holder.

Tie a 10" length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon around the holder and into a bow.

Stamp & punch the little ghost, from the scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Stamp Hey, Boo! in Memento Black Ink on the White Circle. Then attach to the scalloped Pumpkin Pie circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add another Dimensional to the right of the "HEY" and attach the little ghost there.  Use a couple of Dimensionals down the center of the piece to attach to the front of the holder.

Finish off the holder by adding 3 little Pumpkin Pie stars to the holder.

Super cute isn't it?  This is the perfect little Halloween treat for someone special!  Be sure to stop by again on Monday evening after 7pm EDT (and hang out with me LIVE on my YouTube Channel at 7pm EDT) to see Day 5 of the 13 Days of Halloween Treats! Enjoy!!
