July/December 2021 Catalog Sneak Peek Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Good morning friends!! Happy last Monday of the Month to ya.  Last Monday of the month means it's time for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop! I can't wait to share this month's hop with you because it's all about BRAND NEW upcoming products that will be available beginning August 3rd!!!

YAYAYAYA for new stuff to play with!!
And a DOUBLE YAYAYAYAYAYA for a second Sale-a-Bration!!! Am I right?!

My project is a little set of super cute notecards, featuring the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle.  The bundle is part of the Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite and let me just tell you that it's literally the CUTEST Christmas themed collection out there! The suite includes the bundle, an additional little Pillow Box die set (YES! A pillow box!), a Memories & More card set as well as coordinating card base/envelopes, Ribbon, embellishments, Designer Series Paper and more! It's the total package for your Christmastime papercrafting needs.

These products will be available for purchase beginning August 3rd, so be on the lookout for them then! Meanwhile, I can wet your whistle with my notecard set. hehe.

These notecards are actually a quarter sheet of standard 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. scored in half, so you can get FOUR on each sheet of cardstock.  Each card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" scored at 2 3/4" on the long side.  I used Old Olive Cardstock for the bases.

Then, I cut TWO pieces of 4 1/8" x 2 5/8" Basic White (for the inside and outside layers).

I stamped "You're the icing to my gingerbread" in Early Espresso on the outside layer, then adhered it to the card base with Stampin' Seal.

I attached a 4 1/4" x 3/4" strip of the new Be Dazzling 6"x6" Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper across the bottom of the card (maybe about 1/2" above the edge).

The gorgeous cookies you see attached to the fronts of the cards, are actually die cut from the Designer Series Paper, using the coordinated Gingerbread dies.  So stinkin' cute!!! I love when Stampin' Up coordinates the DSP with a punch or dies! So awesome! I attached them with Dimensionals to give em a little lift.

I mean, just LOOK at those die cuts! They look about good enough to eat! hehe.

The little notecards are super easy to make and are a perfect little lunchbox card, or Thank You or pretty much any other reason you can think of to give a card.  They're travel size!

I will be creating a little gift box to hold the notecards LIVE this evening at 7pm EDT on my Facebook Page: The Stampin' Chic Dana Sullivan. I'd love to have you join me!
