Ornate Thanks

Hello my friends! How are you today? I have a beautiful Thank You card to share. I'm really enjoying the Ornate Garden Suite.  It's one of the new product suites in the upcoming 2002 Annual Catalog.

I love the big floral line image that allows you to color it whatever you like.  I used Stampin' Blends to color mine.  The backside of one sheet of the Designer Series Paper is Gold Foil Line imaging (as seen on the left side of the card) and takes Stampin' Blends coloring beautifully!  

I love the Terracotta Tile background of the card base and the perfectly matched ribbon too!  Stampin' Up's well known for how amazingly matched their products are.  This is a perfect example!

When I stamped the image, I knew I wanted to "HIGHLIGHT"one section of it. So, as you can see in the photo above, there is a spot that is raised up over the rest.  I stamped the image on two different pieces of cardstock and then used a punch to cut out just the section I wanted to highlight.  I used the Label Me Lovely Punch from the 2020 Spring Catalog.  Thankfully, this punch is carrying over. It's so versatile.

I colored both pieces the same way, except that I added a light pool party in the background of the highlighted piece. I wanted it to stand out just a little, light a magnifying glass were laid over the top of the image. It's a neat effect!

Since there is Gold Foil on the Designer Series Paper, I felt that the sentiment needed to be Gold as well, so I heat embossed it in Gold.  It looks so nice against the florals and Terracotta color. 

Of course, I always say "No naked insides, and no naked envelopes!"  So here's what I did inside.
