March showcase blog hop

Good Morning my friends! How are you this fine Saturday? Do you have any terrific weekend plans? I think Tinker Tom (aka Mr Stampin' Chic) and I are going to be building a new rotating compost bin! YAY! You don't know how exciting that is for me. hehe.

Ok, well you didn't come here to talk compost did you? Today, we're hopping around with the designers for Ink.Stamp.Share! It's a free for all, so you don't know what exciting things await you!

I'm sharing some fabulous Spring Catalog product, as well as a "sneak peek" of the upcoming 2021 Annual Catalog too!

Don't they just scream SPRING?! I love it!

For the colors, we have (L to R): Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape, Bumble Bee & So Saffron, Calypso Coral & Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana & Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo & Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz & Mossy Meadow, and Petal Pink & Calypso Coral.

As you can see, all of the cards were created the same. This makes a TERRIFIC assembly link project!

The card base was cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2" on the LONG SIDE to create a portrait opening card.

Layer 1 (the cardstock layer) on the front is 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", and the DSP Layer (layer 2) is a standard A2 layer cut at 4" x 5 1/4". I tied a length of the silver metallic edge ribbon around the DSP layer before I attached it to the card.

Then, I used the Sale-a-bration HOST stamp set Punch Party and the coordinating Double Oval Punch to create the sentiment pieces. I layered Dimensionals between each and attached to the card front.

The cards were so quick and easy to put together, and so much FUN too!!! I love all the beautiful bright colors of Springtime!

I had such a terrific time matching DSP and Cardstock colors together. This is one of the most wonderful things about Stampin' Up products! They coordinate SO WELL! It made this project a lot of fun and so super easy too!
