Stampers Showcase Blog Hop: Winter Wonderland

Good morning friends! It's time for the Stampers Showcase!  This month's theme is Winter Wonderland.  I know you're going to LOVE the projects that the other incredibly talented Stampers have in store for you, so be sure to visit each page along the hop!

I really enjoyed making this card. It reminds me of the first good snow of the season. That beautiful crystal shimmer that lays across the ground with the moonlight glittering over it.  Here in the south east, we don't get snows like that very often. But I remember them from my young winters in Iowa with my grandparents. I love that scene! I can still smell the ol' pot belly wood stove burnin' wood to keep us warm.

Wink of Stella lightly brushed over the trees, gives it that shimmery wonderful look.   The Woodland embossing folder makes a beautiful background, all by itself.  I used the Winter Woods Stamp and die bundle to finish up the card.  A layer of the fluffed tree and the tree outline make this Christmas tree look big and full.  Then stamp "Thinking Of You This Season" on the inside, using Night of Navy ink. Tie it up with some Seaside Spray metallic ribbon and it's ready to go!
