I'm a little surprised by the suite I chose because it wasn't one I thought of first when it came to pre-order. But, I'll tell you that I've fallen in love with the Symbols of Fortune Suite.
For starters, I am completely IN LOVE with the Designer Series Paper! It's simply stunning!
Ok, for my card, here's what I used:
* 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Soft Succulent Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4" for the base
* 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Soft Succulent Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4" for the base
* 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White Cardstock
* 2 5/8" x 5 1/8" Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper (DSP)
* 2" x 4" Evening Evergreen Cardstock for die cut sprig
* 2 3/4" x 5 3/4" Basic White Cardstock to stamp & die cut two cranes in Smoky Slate ink
* 3" x 3/4" Basic White Cardstock strip for sentiment
* Scraps of Gold Foil Sheets for two die cut dragonflies and the label behind the sentiment. I used the Label me Lovely Punch and cut a 3/4" strip away from the center of it. So what you see in the card is actually the top section and the bottom section glued to the backside of the sentiment strip. Of course I saved the 3/4" Gold Foil strip for another project later.
I hope you like today's card. I really fell in love with this product collection. I'm glad I got it! I'll bet you will find more projects featuring this suite somewhere along the hop!
