Cards For Kids

Join me for an extra special card making event

 to benefit the children of Jefferson County!

 Saturday October 2,2021

1:00PM - 6:00PM

Jefferson City Public Library
(Big Conference Hall up front)

We will be making cards of Inspiration, Hope, and Love to be donated to the Isaiah 117 House of Jefferson County.  They will give these cards to children who come to the house, who need a little love and encouragement.

The Isaiah 117 House is the calm in a storm of emotions when a child is removed from their home, through no fault of their own.  Often times, they are removed abruptly and are not allowed to take any of their belongings with them.  Can you imagine?  These kiddos go through a lot in a short time.  I would like to do what I can to offer love and support to them.  

Would you join me? 

You can bring whatever supplies you have on hand to create cards with 

OR

Purchase (or donate) a HOPE BOX full of supplies to create the cards.

Each HOPE BOX includes all the supplies needed to create NINE  bright and cheerful cards (and envelopes) that are perfectly suited to show these children the kind of encouragement they need at a time like this.  If you choose to donate a hope box, someone else will assemble the cards for you and give them to Isaiah 117 House in your name.

Come and have fellowship.

Create cards for the kids.

Bring snacks to enjoy and share.

Have a great time of card crafting!

 

WE WILL ALSO BE COLLECTING GIFT CARDS FROM LOCAL ESTABLISHMENTS FOR ISAIAH 117 HOUSE VOLUNTEERS TO PURCHASE MEALS, CLOTHING, ETC FOR THE CHILDREN.  IF YOU’D LIKE TO DONATE A GIFT CARD, THEY’RE IN NEED OF ANY RESTAURANT, GROCERY, OR WALMART . 

**GIFT CARD DONATION IS NOT REQUIRED TO JOIN IN ON THE CARD MAKING FUN. IT’S STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.**
