Good Mornin' my friends! I hope you're doin' well today. I am hangin' by a loose thread, if we're being totally honest. LOL. As I'm sure you've noticed, I didn't even manage to get the Make-It Monday done (which I ALWAYS do, no matter what!). I'm very sorry for that. :-( I feel like a terrible let down for it.
But, you probably also know that I would never just "let it go" without a really good reason. We had to put my nana into the nursing home a couple weeks ago. It's been devastating to see how quickly she's trying to leave us. As you can imagine, we're all very upset. And, with this season in life comes a lot of decisions, provisions, and stress. To say the least. This woman is one of the most important people in my whole world. She taught me so many wonderful lessons and showed the kind of love that seems to only exist in fairy tales. That has had me distracted, more than I could have ever imagined.
This of course, is in addition to some pretty hefty commitments coming up, getting a touch of "WHATEVER THE HECK IS GOING AROUND", as well as the typical "daily struggle". *sigh* I can hear grandma sing to me: "One day at a time, sweet Jesus!"
So, I just wanted to stop by to say that I'm sorry for not being present this week. I hope you'll forgive me and stay tuned for the next post which WILL be the next Make-It Monday. I felt like such a traitor for not having it done and posted this week. :-( I love you all and appreciate each of you for being in my life and part of my story.
