Super Slider Birthday Card!!

Hello friends!  Happy Monday to you! This weekend was a fabulous one. Our eldest daughter came to visit for our birthdays. Mine on Friday, and hers is today.  But it's also Make-It Monday!!! And so, the theme of today's project is all about Birthdays. :-D Of course, I can't do a Make-It Monday project without sharing some of Stampin' Up brand new products!

Are the little Zebras the cutest creatures you've ever seen?! I just love them! So adorable!  Not only is this a sweet Birthday Card, but it's also got a fun little mechanical element to it! I give you, a Super Slider.

The card base is just a standard card.  But the front has the slider mechanism to allow for a bit of fun!

Position #1

Position #2

Here are the Measurements & Supply list to recreate the card:

* 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Magenta Card Base (Scored @ 4 1/4")
* 2" x 5 1/4"  Magenta Panel (Front)
* 1 3/4" x 5" Whisper White (Front Layer)
* 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" Magenta Panel (Back)
* 2" x 6" Magenta Panel (Pull Tab)
* 4" x 5 1/4" White (Inside Panel)
* 4" x 4 7/8" White (Front Panel)
* 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" White for Stitched Circle
* 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" Magenta for Scalloped Circle
* Magenta Madness Ribbon
* Magenta Madness Classic Ink
* Mango Melody Classic Ink
* Smoky Slate Classic Ink
* Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
* Stampin' Seal
* Stampin' Dimensionals

The Card piece on the LEFT is the front.  Think of it as two separate cards, because the slider will cover up one half or the other at a time.  The piece on the RIGHT is the inside of the card.

Watch today's Make-It Monday video to see step-by-step how to assemble this fabulous Slider card!

You can see what the alignment of the pull tab is in this photo (if you're a precise kind of person).

 Here, you can see the placement of Tear & Tape adhesive. These three spots are the only place I applied adhesive to the White Panel.

I hope you enjoyed today's project as much as I did! I can see all sorts of fun uses for this type of interactive card! Try it and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear from you. :-D

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
