Flowering Foils and a Beautiful Friendship

Hello there! Today, I have a pretty card to share with you! The best part is, the products do most of the work in making it look so good! I love it when that happens. :-D

I had a lot of fun creating this card because I got to hand color that stunning flower (Thanks to the Flowering Foils DSP) and I always enjoy using the Country Floral embossing folder! It's got such a thick and rich texture to it! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

A few days ago, I posted a photo of my colored flower and you loved it! So, I'm happy to get to share the final project with you today!

The flower is actually fussy cut from the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper that is part of the 2nd release of FREE Sale-a-Bration items you can choose with any $50 purchase! FREE?!  YAYA!!  And it's absolutely STUNNING paper! Oh my goodness!!

It's a beautiful white background paper with Silver and Copper foil designs! GAAAAH! I love it!

The card base is Purple Posy. I love how light and soft it is.  It was perfect for this card.

I used the Country Floral 3D embossing folder on a layer of Purple Posy to put on the front of the card.  This is probably one of my FAVORITE folders.  I go gah gah over the texture!

The flower was handcolored using Purple Posy, Daffodil Delight, and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends. And then I lightly added some shimmer using Wink of Stella.  I love that the paper almost makes it look like foil embossing on vellum! SO pretty!

If you haven't played with that Copper trim yet, you're missing out! It's so much fun to stretch and contort it into fun shapes and then stretch it back into the 1/4" ribbon it starts as. :-D Or maybe that's just me. lol.

For the Sentiment piece, I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set (which is absolutely GORGEOUS and a MUST HAVE).  It has stunning distINKtive floral images and just beautiful sentiments. If you don't already have it in your collection, you really should get it!

I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies from the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog to cut the white and Heather pieces. I simply cut off the White piece just inside the stitching lines so that it would layer beautifully.

Well friends, I hope you like today's card. I had so much fun creating it! Now I just need to decide who to send it to! :-D I think that's a good problem to have. Don't you? hehe.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
