Ink.Stamp.Share Sneak Peek at NEW products!

Good morning my friends! Oh boy! Oh Boy!!! It's time for the BRAND NEW 2020-2021 Annual Catalog release! I can't wait to share it with you all! It's absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!!

I decided to feature the "World Of Good" product suite.  Right away, I knew I was in love with this collection of world traveler themed products.  The Beautiful World Stamp & Die Bundle create some really amazing sentiments and images.  It's well worth looking into!

This Fancy Z Fold was the perfect design for my card.  I really wanted to show off the incredible sentiments in this set.  And OMG! Take a look at that buckle and the matching Antique Corners! WOW!! Yes, those are part of the collection too! Pair them up with the beautiful Brass Foil Sheets and the Faux Suede 1/4" Trim and PSHEW!!!  You've got an amazing collection!

Ya know what's even cooler than that Brass Globe?  Not much! ha! But take a close look at the Designer Series Paper "Map" on the front of the card.  Yes, it's laced with Brass Foil too!!

GOR-GEOUS!!!!

PPP Blog Hop A Kit in Color

Hello there! I'm so excited that you're here!  It's time for the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!  I absolutely adore this blog hop because I love love LOOOOOOOOOVE Paper Pumpkin!

Are you a subscriber?  If so, YAY!!!  You know how amazing it is already!!  If not, Oh my! Why not?!  You should be! Paper Pumpkin is an amazing papercrafting kit that comes right to your door once a month. It could be cards, or treat holders, or who knows what else! That's part of the fun of it! 

This month's kit is really cool because it features a sneak peek of some BRAND NEW colors in the Stampin' Up Collection!  The kit is called "A Kit In Color".  

Let's take a look at the NEW colors: 

Aren't they GORGEOUS!!! I love em!

My contribution to this month's hop is going to be a POCKET CARD.  I chose this because I thought that the pre-printed card bases from the kit were just perfect for a pocket, and I knew I wanted to use that little die cut "frame" negative piece somehow.  

To start with, you'll want to use Tear & Tape so it holds well.  I ran the tape along both sides and the bottom of the inside. I did both sides so that the card would slide evenly into the middle of the pocket. 

Next, I cut a piece of Magenta Madness Cardstock measuring 3 3/8" x 5". 

**I'm kind of cheating using pre-order supplies. HOWEVER, if you sign up for the Stampin' Up starter kit, you can also pre-order fun new products from the 2020 catalog before anyone else! :-D Trust me, it's worth it!
(Talk to your demonstrator, or me if I'm yours or you don't have one already!)**

I layered on a 3 1/8" x 4 3/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock.

Then, I carefully trimmed the "leftover negative frame" from the die cut scraps in the kit.  This is the border that's left after you punch out the fabulous "striped panel".  I used liquid glue to attach it to the front of the White Cardstock. 

As you can see from this photo, I stamped "You're Amazing" in the included Misty Moonlight ink and the little orange "rays" are Pumpkin Pie. 

The front of the pocket was created pretty much the same as the kit instruction.

A card for the broken hearted....

Those who have had the pleasure of having a "fur baby" or "man/woman's best friend" or "companion" or whatever you choose to describe them...... Know the utter joy of being a pet owner/partner. 

In a world of chaos and confusion, there is always one constant at home. Our best friends, our companions, our babies are always there to show how happy they are to see us home again.  While some may say that they are "just animals", we lucky ones know the truth.  They are the best of us! Irreplaceable. Sometimes our sanity. And often times, our whole world.

My fur babies are Layla and Gunner.  My faithful sidekicks, and trusted companions. The sweetest, kindest, most loving puppers on the planet. Unless you try to lay a finger on me of course! lol.  Then they're rearing to go to protect me. 

They totally look "ferocious" don't they? lol. Unconditional love runs both ways.  And even though I know they're getting older, the idea that I will someday have to say goodbye is already a devastating thought.

One of my sweet friends lost her fur baby this past weekend. She is heartbroken, and I completely understand.  I wanted to send her a card, to let her know I was thinking of her. 

Thanks to Stampin' Up for always seeming to have just the right stamps for us!  The Happy Tails Stamp set is on the retiring list, but I plan to hang on to it for a long time to come. I love the puppy dog that you can add spots and patches to, and the sentiments are just PERFECT!

There's a lot of two step stampin' going on with this set too.  You have the option of dalmation type spots, or lucky type patches, plus the dog has a collar.  And the hearts two step, as well as the dog house.  And check out those fabulous sentiments! LOVE IT!

I love the color combination here. I think it fits well for a fur baby card. I used the little paw print stamp to create a background on the scalloped rectangle.  It definitely draws the eye in!  The sentiment is beautiful too.  On the outside it says "So sorry for your loss". On the inside it says "A Best Friend leaves a paw print on  your heart".  It's so true! 

I used a lot of layers and a bit of dimension too.  I really like the look of it and it adds to the quality of the card. 

If you have a fur baby that you love, be sure to hug it extra tight today. We don't get to have them in our lives nearly long enough.
