Christmas Countdown Blog Hop

Good morning my crafty friends! Christmastime is upon us, isn't it? It'll be here before we know it.  Time to trim the tree and hang the stockings! Oh! It's my favorite time of year! I still get the same warm feeling I did when I was a child. I cling to it for dear life for as long as I can, and I seek it out at the beginning of each Christmas season. It's like my oldest and dearest friend. 

Ok, so I'm a bit nostalgic.  That's ok, right? It's Christmas time!

Which brings me to today's hop. :-) It's all about the Christmas Countdown!  What do we do to prep for Christmas?  

One of the things I do to prep for Christmas, is a HUGE Holiday Stamp-A-Stack Class.  My customers have come to know, love, and expect this class on the first Saturday of November each year. It's a ton of work, but something I really look forward to as well! We create TWENTY-FOUR Christmas cards, with the option to buy in multiple sets.  Customers are able to handmake all of their fabulous cards for the holidays, several weeks ahead of Christmas, and they LOVE IT!  

We had twenty attendees this time.  20 people x 24 cards each = 480 card kits! Wowza! But sooooo much fun! 

Plus, we have a nice lunch! This year, we had a super fun taco bar.  The taco meat stayed warm in the crock pot, with all the toppings you could want, and plenty of options for hard or soft shell tacos, taco salad, or nachos!  What a terrific way to keep up the energy to create 24 cards! hehe.  Of course, we also had dessert! Three different options to satisfy the sweet tooth.

As you can see, everyone had a terrific time! This is always a ton of fun, and at the end of the day we're ready to put stamps on those envelopes and get 'em in the mail! yay!
