Day 11 of The 13 Days of Halloween Treats

Hello my crafty friends! It's time for Day 11 of the 13 Days of Halloween Treats!  We are winding down and have just a couple treats left. But don't worry! They're all fantastic!

Today's treat holder is easy to modify for whatever you'd like to put inside. Truly, it's just a standard box.  But the Window sheet lid and the spooktacular tag make it anything but basic! I found the package of Orange Cream Savers at Cracker Barrel. Y'all know how much I love finding treats there!

Here's what you'll need for this treat holder:

Basic Black Cardstock 3" x 7 1/8" (scored at 1" on all four sides)
Window Sheet 2" x 6 1/8" (scored at 1/2" on all four sides - using a shim) *You can watch how to make a standard box, by clicking on the word "shim" above. The video will show you how to make a box and use the shim for the lid. *
Scrap of Basic Black Cardstock to die cut Cat & Bats
Scrap of Basic White Cardstock for "BOO!"
Piece of Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (punched with the Label me Lovely Punch)

Add a little Memento Ink around the edges of the punched label.  I attached the cat with Stampin' Dimensionals and then the bats with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped "BOO" on a little scrap of Basic White Cardstock and then trimmed it tight and dovetailed the left edge. I tucked it under the cheek of the cat and attached it to the tag with liquid glue.  A few little Rhinestones gussied the tag up just right.

Use your Take Your Pick Tool to poke a hole in the tag. Tie a small length of Black Baker's Twine to make a little loop. While you're tying the Gingham bow around the box, slip a tail of the ribbon through the loop on the twine to hold the tag in.  Finish the bow and you are done! :-D
