PPP Blog Hop Here's To You

Hello, hello, hello my friends! Welcome to The Stampin' Chic's little corner of the internet world! I'm so happy to see you.

Today is all about that incredible little red "Paper Pumpkin" box. This month's kit is called "Here's To You". It's all about affirmation and appreciation.

The kit includes the supplies to create four each of two designs of card.  Both are so pretty and a lot of fun to assemble!

Check out all the sentiments in this kit! LOVE LOVE LOVE em!!

There's a ton of color going on here too, and it's all beautiful!

We're doing the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! YAY!  Ya know, the only thing I love more than Paper Pumpkin is seeing what fun alternatives I can create with the kits.  With the PPP Blog Hop, I get to share those creations with you! What fun!

I'm really happy with my project because it's a gift AND a card all wrapped up into one! It's not quite a standard size card, but it holds a roll of candy (think Lifesavers). The card itself measures 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", and is a terrific size to have plenty of room to write a sweet note inside.

Let me show you how to make it!

You will need a piece of Old Olive Cardstock that measures 6 3/4" x 9 1/2" for the base of the project. Follow the Template here for score & cutting.

Next, you'll need a piece of BumbleBee Cardstock that measures 7" x 4 3/4" for the card base. Score this piece at 3 1/2" on the LONG SIDE.

Cut 2 pieces of Basic White Cardstock at 3 1/4" x 4 1/2".  One is for the outside of the card, and the other is for the inside.

You'll also need a 3 1/8" x 3/4" strip of Basic White for the sentiment on the outside.

I used a length of BumbleBee Ribbon to tie in a knot around the box part.  It slides off and on quite easily.

I love when the Paper Pumpkin kits coordinate with Stampin' Up products too!  I was able to use the Mountain Air Stamp Set to create a fun mountain range on my card front.  The Paper Pumpkin kit included FREE stencils that helped to create the beautiful scene.

They're a lot of fun to play with and open up a whole other world of possibilities for this kit!

Seaside Spray was used for the clouds, Pretty Peacock for the Mountain chain and sentiment, and Old Olive for the trees.
