Hey Chick! February ICS Blog Hop

Hello there friends! Welcome to another day of "HEY CHICK" fun! Today we're hopping with the ICS Blog Hop! The focus of the hop is all the new, fabulous, fun stuff going on right now during Sale-a-Bration.  It ties in perfectly with my Hey Chick theme this week, wouldn't you say? 

This card was so much fun to create and I am really enjoying the help of all the incredible dies that come along with the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles!

Not only do the dies cut out the adorable chickens, but you get chicken wire fence, a chicken coop, corn stalks, a wooden sign, tree stump, wooden fence, grain sack and more! Seriously the most complete set of chicken dies EVER!! This chic certainly approves!

For today's card, I brought in some of the 6"x 6" Brights Designer Series Paper for a nice easy background.  Stampin' Up is giving away 5 packages of their Color Collection DSP when you get the starter kit during Sale-a-Bration!!

I love that the dies do almost all of the work on this project! It's so great!  

I used the Banner Triple Punch on the Yellow Polka dot banner, but you could also just cut with snips if you don't have the punch (or order the punch because it guarantees a perfectly centered cut each time. hehe).

The grain sack was cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock, the Coop cut from Soft Suede, the Chicks from So Saffron, and the Happy Birthday Banner, the Fence and the Hen were stamped & cut from Basic White.  I used a Thick Basic White card base to lay it all on. 

The Lovely Labels Pick a Punch created the decorative ends for my Happy Birthday Label. I love the simplicity of it.
