March 2020 KBH Theme: Color Challenge - Green Monochromatic

Good morning friends! Today, we are hopping with the Kre8tors Blog Hop!  As we're getting closer to St. Patrick's Day, I'm full onboard with our theme for March!

GREEN!!!

All of the projects on the hop are going to be GREEN!! Yaya!!  Now, If you're not a fan of this color, that's ok.  You will still see fantastic ideas and projects that you love.  Just change the color. :-)

My card features "A Little Lace" Stamp Set and Die bundle.  I have been IN LOVE with this bundle since I first laid eyes on it! It's GORGEOUS!!

I started out with a Pear Pizzazz Card base measuring 4 1/" x 11 and scored at 5 1/2" on the long side.  I cut an additional piece of Pear Pizzazz measuring 4" x 5 1/4", then used the stunning lace die to make that incredible lace panel you see at the top of the card.  The die set is just 2 pieces. The 2nd piece cuts a border (as pictured here), so I used that to cut just as much as I needed for this card. Approx. 2 1/4".  The rest I'll save for another project down the road. :-D

On a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock I used Old Olive to stamp the beautiful floral piece. I also used a scrap of white cardstock to stamp the hello sentiment, and then used the classic label punch to cut it out.

To make the centers for the flowers, I used the Gold Faceted Gems and a Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blend marker to "match" my colors.  I LOVE how our Blends can do that! SO COOL!

I used liquid glue to attach the lace piece to the top of the Whisper White panel. And then tied a length of Granny Apple Green Ribbon around the whole piece.

You can use any of the adhesives to attach the front panel to the card base. I used tear & tape because of the ribbon.

Remember that there should be NO naked insides and NO naked envelopes, so I just stamped that floral piece on the envelope and used the small coordinating stamp in the set to embellish the inside. :-)

Doing Monochromatic projects are so much fun! I challenge you to create something and share it with me in my Facebook group!
