PPP Blog Hop Sending Hearts

Hey, Hey, Hey!! It's time to share some alternative projects from this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit! YAYA!!  Yes, that means we're hoping with the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop.  Join me and a terrific bunch of demos as we share some fun "outside the box" ideas for using up that kit.  Hop all the way back around to me so you don't miss any of the great projects!

I had such a wonderful time creating with the January Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin kit.  It could be because it coordinates with the Snailed It Suite.  It could be because it has an add-on treat box kit.  It could be that I love Valentine's Day.  It's likely all of the above.  Whatever the reason, I can't wait to share one of my projects with you this evening!

My project was created with the idea of extending the life of the kit after all the contents are used up.  The kit itself doesn't use the seriously ADORABLE snail stamp.  But I'm so glad it was included in the set.  Just look at how much fun this card is!

A Poppy Parade card base, Basic Black background layer, and random stamping on Basic White creates the cutest little snail card ever!

I brought in the Stitched Rectangle Dies to create the background label for my "p.s. i love you" sentiment.  The words came from Ronda Wade's Million Dollar Stamp Set "Ridiculously Awesome".  It is, you know....... Ridiculously Awesome!

Anyway, I used Pool Party and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers to color all my little friends.  It was a lot of fun! Very relaxing.  Maybe I should make a whole sheet of the snails, so I could enjoy coloring them.

Stampers Showcase It's All About The Love, Baby!

Good morning my fabulous friends! How are you today?  It's time for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop! YAYAYA!!!

This month's theme is "It's All About The Love, Baby"!

I love this because there's never enough LOVE in the world, is there?  Well today, my fellow Stampers Showcase designers and I are going to shower you with love!  Get ready!!

I chose the "PUNCH PARTY" exclusive Host Set to create my card with. I was so excited to see that it coordinates with multiple punches in the Stampin' Up catalogs. It always excites me when Stampin' Up releases new coordinating products!

The Stamp Set Coordinates with the Heart Punch Pack, The Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, and the Double Oval Punch.

Another special thing about this Stamp Set is that it's FREE with a $300 order (workshop) during Sale-A-Bration! I do LOVE FREE!! :-D

For my card, I stamped two of the "MY HEART IS" images. One in Basic Gray and one in Melon Mambo.  While creating this card, I discovered that the smallest Layering Circles Die fits around that circle part perfectly. YAY! Yet another "coordinating" product!  I used it to cut the circle center from Melon Mambo to layer onto the Basic Gray.  I decided to add little hints of So Saffron to my card.  I used the smallest Scalloped Layering Circle to create a layer for the die cut circle sentiment.  I also used the Posted For You punch to create a mat layer for the whole stamped piece.  It's so cute!

I brought in my new FAVORITE Embossing Folder to create a bit of texture for the background of my card. It worked like a charm! I love the Painted Texture Embossing Folder! The little hearts are borrowed from the Floral Heart Dies in the new Spring Mini Catalog.  One little die cuts 6 of those adorable hearts out.  I placed them like confetti (using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals) across the front of my card. Super cute!

Be on the lookout for this week's Make-it-Monday video where I'll be showing how I created this sweet card!

It's time for me to send you over to my sweet friend Wendy's blog. She does such incredible work. It's gonna knock your socks off!  Hop all the way back around to me (or wherever you started) to ensure you don't miss any of the amazing projects we have in store for you!
