A Holiday Preview Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Good morning friends! It's the last Monday of the month, and that means it's time for my absolute FAVORITE blog hop of the month!!!  YAYA!!! This month's theme is "A HOLIDAY PREVIEW".  You're in for a treat because each of the designers are featuring new products from the new 2020 Holiday catalog!

If you're already familiar with the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop, then you know these designers are hand selected for being some of the absolute BEST and most creative Stampin' Up demos out there! If you're NOT already familiar,  you're about to understand why I say that. :-) ENJOY!

A few weeks ago, I shared a project I created using the GORGEOUS Red Velvet Paper and the Little Treats Bundle. It was so much fun to do and such a cute treat holder!

I decided to create a new one for you using the same Little Treat Box Dies and the beautiful "Snowflake Wishes" stamp set.  I think you're gonna love it!

Oh my! Those snowflakes, die cut out of the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper, really show up on the cutest little die cut treat holder I've ever seen! Way to go Stampin' Up! for coming up with such a sweet (and SIMPLE) treat holder die!

The holder is JUST big enough to fit TWO Ghirardelli chocolates. It's perfectly sized for them!

Supplies you'll need:
* Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set
* Little Treat Box Dies
* Balmy Blue Cardstock (5 1/2" x 7")
* Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper (1 7/8" x 4 1/2")
*Scrap of Whisper White Cardstock for Scallop Circle
* 9" of White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon
* 9" of Faux Linen Ribbon (from Flowers For Every season Combo)
* 12" Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker's Twine (from Flowers For Every season Combo)
* Versamark Ink
* Night of Navy Ink
* Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (or other die cut machine)
* Multipurpose Liquid Glue
* Stampin' Dimensionals (or mini)
* Paper Snips

I did a video to show how to create my little treat holder.  It's so fun! Watch and see!

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

Good morning friends! How is your weekend so far?  Mine has been exciting, and I can't wait to share it with you! But today, I'm joining the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.

Scrapbooking is actually what got me into paper crafting in the first place, if you can believe it.  A friend of mine invited me to a get together with a few of her friends who were doing a small crop.  This group was amazing and they got together twice a month with their scrapbook totes in hand and spread out across a table with all their beautiful papers, stickers, and die cuts, and of course all those wonderful memories being proudly displayed on the pages.  They were beautiful and I was mesmerized!

Now, scrapbooking has come a LOOOOOOONG way since those days (not to date myself or anything. lol).  Thankfully, we have lots of incredible products to help us create stunning works of art that our photos can live in forever.

That's what I love about this blog hop!  You'll get to see a lot of incredibly talented designers sharing fantastic ideas for you to showcase your beautiful memories too!

With that said, I'm gonna throw a monkey wrench in the works today! haha!

I have an alternative style of scrapbook to share with you.  It's called an explosion box and the wonderful thing about it is that it's fully interactive and portable! It can hold a lot of photos, but the downside is they all have to be small.   Let's take a look!

The outside of the box draws attention to it and establishes a theme. In this case travel & discovery.  But the real magic happens when you lift the lid!

A whole world falls open!!

Each of these layers either have a fabulous quote related to our theme, or have room for small photos to be added on.  This sort of scrapbook would be perfect for a young person going off on their own for the first time, or for someone going on a new adventure.

Each layer of the box is created, one at a time, and then stacked on top of each other so that they nest inside the box perfectly.  You would never imagine that all this would be tucked away inside that little box if you didn't open the lid.  What a discovery!

As you can see from the photo above, you can add flaps to create even MORE room inside the box.  Maybe the front has a photo and the underside has some journaling about the photo.

The layer pictured below has a pocket and a removable layer. It could work similar to the flap above.  But using the two different methods, instead of just both the same, adds a lot more interest to our already intriguing box doesn't it?

And finally, the bottom layer of the box.  This one also has a pocket with a pull out piece.  This is the one that would have Designer Series Paper or something decorative on the backside, because this is what makes up the body of the box.

I created this box for my "World of Good" Virtual Stampin' Escape this summer.  It was 1 of 12 stunning projects that attendees got to make.  I include all the paper supplies, PDF tutorial, and video tutorials for EACH project.  This escape has ended, but you can order the tutorials on my "RETREATS" tab. There's a HOLIDAY Stampin' Escape coming up, and posted below! I'd love to have you join me! :-D

Supplies used for the explosion box:

* World of Good Memories & More Card Pack
* Misty Moonlight Cardstock
* Basic Black Cardstock
* Early Espresso Cardstock
* Whisper White Cardstock
* Brass Foil Sheets
* Adhesives

Ink.Stamp.Share Autumn/Winter Catalogue August Blog Hop

Good Morning friends! This month's Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop is taking you on a little tour of the New Holiday Catalog!  Get your Christmas Cap on because i'll bet you will find a lot of fantastic ideas for the holidays today!

I know just the other day I said that Santa can wait.  But, that doesn't mean I'm not ready for cooler temperatures outside.  I love a nice hot cup of apple cider in the fall and hot cocoa in the winter. Yum!  And Stampin' Up has an entire suite of products designed to make beautifully festive cups to enjoy those cool weather beverages in!

I love how the Stamp & Die Bundle coordinates to make beautiful perfect layers and texture.

The stamp set offers not only for layering up a cup label, but also to easy use on a card front as well!  And my favorite sentiment of the season just happens to be on this set: "You're the marshmallows to my cocoa".  hehehe. Isn't it sweet?!

The dies match perfectly for you to be able to effortlessly layer those labels up!  Check out the label on my cup.  Three deep! Made super easy by the dies, from the cup wrapper itself, to the lace trim, to the adorable little mug on the front of the label.  Easy Peezy!

Here are a few other samples from Stampin' Up:

Pretty fantastic right?  I just love this suite! Expect to see more from me very soon! :-D  Right! So now it's time for me to send you on along to the next person on the hop.  Click the button below to be taken over to Kim's Blog where you're sure to find terrific inspiration!  Have fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I have a wonderful time sharing fun projects with you.  I hope you enjoy it too! Don't forget to subscribe to my Blog, if you're not already, so you can get notified each time I post something new. That way, you won't miss any other projects!
