June PPP Blog Hop Box of Sunshine

Hey there friends! One of the most fabulous things about getting the Paper Pumpkin kit each month (aside from the incredible AWESOMENESS that is Paper Pumpkin!), is creating alternative projects with the kit.  It's one of my absolute most FAVORITE things EVER! So, naturally, I LOVE doing a Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop!

In my Paper Pumpkin Groupies Facebook Group, a few months ago, there was chat about Scrapbook pages made from the kits.  I started making a point of doing a scrapbook layout for each month's kit and have really enjoyed it!

So, I chose to make this month's alternative project a scrapbook layout!  I hope you like it!

Ok, what prompted this one is that I REALLYwanted a use for those beautiful Foil Embossed envelopes. But the frame was too big to use as a layer for a card front. :-( Sad face! So I thought, instead, I could use it as a frame for a scrapbook page. Brilliant!

I also used a few of the die cut fruit pieces, an extra polka dot sticker and a label. I've intentionally left these all blank because I have to get some photos printed.  I'm TERRIBLE about taking a million photos but then NOT getting them printed. Anyone else out there with me? lol.

This section is big enough to mat two 3 1/5" x 5" photos, plus a journal section if I choose.  I actually just cut one of the card bases in half and trimmed it down a touch. Easy peezy!

Overall, this layout was really simple to put together and used only a sheet of Bumblebee 12" x 12" cardstock outside of the Paper Pumpkin kit. Gotta love that!

Be sure to follow the hop around to see all the other Paper Pumpkin Alternatives for this month! You're gonna love em! Click the "NEXT" button to head over to Ms Deb's page.

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop: The Brand NEW 2020 Annual Catalog!

Good morning my friends! It's my favorite time of the month! Stampers Showcase Blog Hop! This month's theme is all about that Brand New 2020 Annual Catalog! The Stampers Showcase designers have put together a collection of projects featuring items in the new catalog.

You're sure to find tons of amazing inspiration along the hop!

My contribution to this month's theme is all about the "LOVELY YOU" Stamp & Punch Bundle.  First of all, the sentiments are incredible! I absolutely ADORE when Stampin' Up uses two different fonts in the same sentiment.  SO PRETTY!  And then you've got a collection of floral images to use too.

I love how such a simple design can look so classy.  All that GORGEOUS Gold Heat Embossing really makes it pop!

I kept the inside pretty simple. And while I could have heat embossed the inside sentiment as well, I just stamped it in Memento Black ink. But the leaves look really pretty with that touch of gold!

Be sure to follow the hop all the way around until you get back to me (or wherever you started from). This ensures you don't miss a single post along the hop!  You are gonna love all the inspiration you find along the way!

So much fun!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today my friends! I hope you enjoyed this fun project.  I always enjoy the opportunity to heat emboss something! hahaha!

Until Next Time,

A Fabulously Fun Fancy Fold!

Good morning everyone! I hope you're doing well today.  I have a terrific project to share with you. It's a brilliant Gate Fold type Fancy Fold Card that's so simple and easy to make.  You're gonna love it!

I love pretty much everything about this card. It's so bright and cheerful!

And the inside is just as fabulous, too!!

Well, let's get started shall we?

Here's what you'll need to recreate this project:

· Bumblebee Cardstock: Cut to 5 1⁄2” x 11”
(Scored on the LONG side @
1 1/4”, 3 3/8”, 7 5/8”, 9 3/4”)
· 2020-2022 In-Color DSP: (cut 2) 1 1/8” x 5 3/8”
· 2020-2022 In-Color DSP: (cut 2) 2” x 5 3/8”
· ANOTHER 2020-2022 In-Color DSP: (cut 2) 2” x 5 3/8”
· Bumblebee Cardstock: 3” x 3”
· 2020-2022 In-Color DSP: 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
· White Cardstock: 2 1/2” x 2 1/2”, 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”, 1" x 11"

I used the LOVELY YOU stamp set for the sprigs and the sentiments. It's a GORGEOUS set with lots of beautiful sentiments. And I LOOOOOOVE the combination of fonts in each one!
This project was actually one of my Mystery Stamping projects a couple of weeks ago.
Here's the video "instruction" for creating the card.  Feel free to fast forward to each step:

Mystery Stamping is so much fun! I really enjoy it!  I'll be doing another one Wednesday July 1st at 7pm EST in THE STAMPIN' CHIC'S FACEBOOK GROUP.  Join us! I post the supply list a day in advance, so you have time to get prepared and follow along. :-)

A CASE of the CASE-IT: Forever Fern

Good morning friends! How are you today?  Yesterday's CASE-IT was a fantastic card layout that I mentioned you could use like a Card Sketch to create other projects.

Today, I'm sharing a CASE of the CASE-IT Card! hehe

Notice that the layout is pretty much the same as yesterday's CASE-IT card.  The only real difference is that I used the Layering Circles to stamp the sentiment and mat it with a scalloped layer behind it. I also used the Gold Thread from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, instead of ribbon.  Otherwise, the layout is just the same.  But isn't it neat that even with all their similarities, the two cards still look a lot different too.

Ok, just like yesterday, the card is super simple to assemble.

You'll need:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Pretty Peacock Card Base (Scored at 4 1/4")
5 1/4" x 4" Pretty Peacock layer (Distressed on all four edges)
3 pieces of the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper measuring 1 1/2" x 3 3/4" each
5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White for the inside panel
and a scrap of Whisper White and Pretty Peacock for the sentiment piece

As well as a length of the Gold Trim.  I wrapped it around the Peacock layer twice because it's kindof a finer thread.

I used Pretty Peacock Ink for the sentiments on the inside and the outside of the card, and stamped the sprig in Pear Pizzazz Ink.

This is a fantastic "GO TO" card layout for a quick and simple in a hurry type of card.  Without looking like you were in a hurry! :-D

I hope you enjoyed the look at two different cards using the same design/layout.  Try it out and make some super fabulous cards to have on hand for just in case! You'll be glad you did!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!

CASE- IT Wednesday: Adventure Awaits

Hey there friends! Today is CASE - it Wednesday, and I have a fabulously simple card to share with you.  It features the World of Good product suite and is really quick and easy to do.  Ya ready?

Here's what you'll need:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Early Espresso Card Base (Scored at 4 1/4")
5 1/4" x 4" Early Espresso layer (Distressed on all four edges)
3 pieces of the World Of Good Designer Series Paper measuring 1 1/2" x 3 3/4" each
5 1/4" x 4" Very Vanilla for the inside panel
and a scrap of Very Vanilla for the sentiment piece

You'll also need one of those amazing antiqued buckles and approximately 12" of the Faux Suede Ribbon.

I used Early Espresso Ink for the "Adventure Awaits" sentiment on the front, and the "Beautiful Journey" on the inside.  Then I also used Mossy Meadow Ink for the Globe on the inside panel.

Simply layer the three panels across the 5 1/4" x 4" Espresso layer. Attach using your favorite adhesive.  Then wrap the ribbon around the layer and slide the buckle over the top end. I used Tear & Tape to tack down each end, but you can use whatever adhesive you prefer.

Once you've got the ribbon around the panel, go ahead and adhere the whole piece to the front of the card base.    Then layer the 5 1/4" x 4" Very Vanilla piece to the inside after you stamp it.

That's it! Viola!!! Card complete! Super easy peezy isn't it??   Come back tomorrow to see me use this same layout on an entirely different themed card.  It's fantastic how you can take one card layout and transform it into tons of other projects!  This is gonna be fun! So be sure to come back by!

Until Next Time,
Happy Crafting!
